Camille Dupont

  • PhD Student

Camille is a PhD student at the PRISM laboratory, which she joined in 2025 after obtaining a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics – Omics and Systems Biology. This training course has provided her with solid skills in omics data production and analysis, particularly in proteomics, genomics and mass spectrometry.

Her thesis, co-supervised by Dr Fabien Vanden Abeele (PRISM) and Dr Madeleine Aumar (INFINITE, Lille), focuses on oesophageal atresia (OA) and neuroendocrine breast cancer, two rare diseases requiring better molecular characterisation and a deeper understanding of their pathophysiological mechanisms. Her research work combines her skills in proteomics and bioinformatic analysis. Her research project is based on an integrated approach to metabolomics and proteomics aimed at characterising the molecular signatures associated with these diseases. This strategy aims to elucidate the biological mechanisms involved in their onset and progression and, ultimately, to contribute to the identification of new molecular pathways and the development of innovative predictive and therapeutic tools.
