The MS4Omics platform of the PRISM Inserm U1192 laboratory offers expertise in proteomics and mass spectrometry imaging (MSI).

In proteomics, it specialises in non-targeted approaches (bottom-up, shotgun and top-down) and interactomics (cross-linking MS and BioID). Particular expertise has been acquired in tissue analysis using spatial proteomics, FFPE tissue analysis, proteogenomics and the purification, quantification and analysis of exosomes. The link between the platform and the laboratory enables the platform to offer unique expertise.

MS4Omics takes on requests from local, regional and national academics and industry, or from outside France.

  •  Large-scale proteomic analysis (bottom-up, shotgun, top-down) label-free quantification and analysis of large cohorts (>100 samples)
  • Sample preparation for large-scale proteomics (FASP, iST, SP3) irrespective of sample storage mode (fresh-frozen, fixed, FFPE) and for any biological material (fluids, organs, biopsies, tissue sections, organoids, spheroids, extracellular vesicles)
  • Proteogenomics and alternative proteome (AltProt and small protein)
  • Tissue imaging and profiling by mass spectrometry (MALDI, DESI, SpiderMass)
  • Sample preparation for MS imaging (cutting, dewaxing, washing, antigen unmasking, enzymatic digestion) for fresh-frozen, fixed and FFPE tissues, and for all biological tissue material (organs, biopsies, tissue sections, organoids, spheroids, plants).
  • Spatial proteomics analysis of tissue sections including FFPE
  • Interactomics analysis by cross-linking MS and BioID
  • Analysis of proteomics and MS imaging data with multivariate statistical analysis and deep-learning tools
  • Metabolomics, lipidomics & glycoproteomics
  • Spatially-Resolved Omics
