Jeanne Léonard

  • PhD Student

She is a first-year doctoral student at the University of Lille, in the PRISM laboratory. Her research interests lie in the fields of biology, neuroimmunology and oncology. Her current project focuses on the study of antibodies produced and secreted by glioblastoma cells, with the aim of gaining a better understanding of their role in tumour progression and exploring potential therapeutic implications. She has expertise in cell culture, molecular biology and proteomics, particularly in transcriptomic analysis and mass spectrometry. Keen to deepen her knowledge of neuroscience, she undertook specialist training in Sweden on injuries to the central nervous system, thereby enriching her understanding of the complex interactions between the nervous and immune systems. Her research is part of a multidisciplinary approach designed to shed light on new avenues for diagnosing and treating brain cancers.
